Light Building Studio celebrates sustainable efforts and natural lighting in architecture and landscape. Where challenging lighting solutions are resolved and become the focus of 21st century architecture, Light Building Studio will showcase your day-lighting solutions without losing quality and insuring that the time and effort devoted to achieving the delight and comfort you’ve worked so hard to achieve will be evident and displayed.

Ellen Phillips Soroka has had a broad range of experiences as an architectural designer, educator, and photographer. She received a Rome Prize Fellowship to study the presence of natural light in the work of Carlo Scarpa in 2001-2 and opened Light Building studio in 2005 to continue studying natural light, form and territory through photography and especially where regional light is reflected in architecture and landscape.

Ellen attended Pratt, Cooper Union, and MIT and has taught at Arizona State University, University of Washington, U. California, Berkeley, University of Virginia, RPI, and Mississippi State University.
