I’ve been photographing professionally since 2006, but I’ve been making art my whole life. I studied Art, Theatre and Set Design in getting my undergraduate degree, and afterwards focused more on Photoshop & digital art. Working as a photoshop retoucher for a travel photography company, I became enthralled with architectural photography. I’ve since photographed thousands of homes, installations and new developments, shooting for architects, developers, designers, stagers, and other contractors. I’m especially passionate about innovative, problem-solving architectural design, particularly as it relates to sustainability and energy efficiency, as well as the unconventional repurposing of materials. I’m hoping to work further on bringing awareness to these sorts of projects, wherever they exist. I love working in a field that puts all my knowledge of digital photography & composition, as well as my strong sense of objectivity & perfectionism to good use.
Born in Victoria, BC, I currently reside near Vancouver, BC with my wife and two children, after briefly living in the US and Japan. When I’m not busy taking or processing photographs of buildings and interiors or artwork, I’m often out doing landscape photography or painting.
